We are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Senior Sales Person to join our Enterprise Business team.
As a Senior Sales Person, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) and Heads of Procurement.
You will act as the primary point of contact for these clients, managing the entire sales journey from initial engagement to onboarding, and ensuring prompt, effective responses to their needs. You will manage a portfolio of 1015 accounts, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with CPOs and Heads of Procurement, developing tailored solutions that address client needs and challenges.
- Sales Journey Management: Oversee the sales journey from initial client engagement to final onboarding, ensuring seamless communication and effective responses to client inquiries.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Sourcing, Operations, Client Success, and Technology teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to build and maintain a robust pipeline, focusing on closing high-value deals.
- Funnel Management: Manage a portfolio of 1015 high-value accounts in advanced stages, ensuring regular communication and driving the sales cycle to successful contract closures.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on closing multi-million-dollar deals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of solutions.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on sales performance, pipeline development, and new opportunities.
Requirements:
- Education: MBA from a Tier 1 college and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years in enterprise B2B industrial solution sales with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Background: Experience in manufacturing plant operations followed by a transition into consulting roles in procurement and supply chain.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of plant operations and manufacturing is a plus.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to sell solutions to large corporations and close multi-million-dollar deals.
- Client Experience: Experience working directly with CPOs and Heads of Procurement.
