Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Reporting Lead will drive the design, development, and delivery of data-driven insights across the organization. This role involves partnering with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into meaningful dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and actionable intelligence.

You will lead a team of BI Developers and Business Analysts to create scalable reporting solutions using modern analytics tools, data models, and visualization best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for dashboards and reports.

- Provide technical leadership in reporting architecture, data modeling, and dashboard design.

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance across all reporting deliverables.

- Translate business requirements into effective visualizations and technical solutions.

- Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 BI Developers/Analysts, driving performance and innovation.

- Own end-to-end project delivery: from requirements to design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with leadership to define data strategies, resolve challenges, and enable data-driven decision-making.

- Work in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure iterative and collaborative delivery.

Technical Expertise

- Enterprise BI Tools: Power BI (preferred), JasperSoft, QlikView, Tableau, OBIEE.

- Power BI Expertise: Power BI Report Builder, Premium Workspace management, DAX, query optimization.

- Data Management: Data warehousing, data governance, lineage, and ETL frameworks.

- Database Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL.

- Architecture & Modeling: Experience with Data Models, OLAP, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse environments.

- Cloud & Integration (Preferred): Azure Data Engineering (Synapse, Databricks, Power BI connectors).

- CRM Analytics (Preferred): Zoho CRM/Zoho Analytics, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems.

Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

- Experience in Mutual Funds, Securities, Investments, Brokerage, or Financial Markets.

- Understanding of CRM processes including Leads, Contacts, and Opportunities.

- Familiarity with financial instruments such as Cash, Futures, Options, and Swaps.

Qualifications

- Education: BE/BTech (Computer Science/IT) or MCA.

- Experience: 9-11 years of total experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Data Analytics, including:

- Minimum 6+ years hands-on experience with enterprise BI tools.

- Proven track record in data analysis, reporting design, and technical leadership.
