Senior Manager Record to Report (R2R)
Function: Corporate Finance / Controllership
Reporting to: Global Controller / Finance
Location: Bangalore

1. Role Summary
The Senior Manager Record to Report (R2R) will be responsible for managing global entity accounting, intercompany reconciliations, consolidation (FCCS), statutory data collation, and financial reporting for multiple international entities. The role ensures accurate and timely book closure, compliance reporting, intercompany alignment, and supports audits, statutory filings, and management reporting.
This is a hands-on controllership and consolidation role requiring strong execution ownership during quarter-end and year-end close cycles.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Entity-Level Accounting & Book Closure (Quarterly & Annual)
European Entity
- Process IQEQ invoices and coordinate payments
- Post quarterly bank transactions in coordination with Treasury
- Prepare quarterly Trial Balance
- Perform Intercompany (ICO) balance matching with group entities
- Update and validate FCCS submissions
- Upload and approve WELART reconciliations
- Share financial data with external service providers for statutory finalization
- Prepare annual reserve reconciliations
Latin America Entity
- Post quarterly bank transactions and accounting entries
- Prepare quarterly Trial Balance
- Perform ICO matching with European and other group entities
- Update and validate FCCS outputs
- Share Cash & Bank templates with Central Controllership
- Upload and approve WELART reconciliations
- Coordinate with local finance teams for annual financials
B. Quarter Close Activities
- Review high-value contracts (PO value > INR 50 Mn) and prepare summaries
- Compute and post fixed and variable commission entries for business segments
- Prepare Related Party, Subsidiary & Associate listings
- Collate actuarial valuation reports and prepare entity-level summaries
- Validate and eliminate dividend, royalty, and closing stock entries at consolidation level
- Provide FCCS support for upload and validation issues
- Perform ICO transaction analysis, FX entries, and circulate ICO reports
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve intercompany differences
- Analyze INP (In-Process) balances and prepare reclassification entries
- Prepare Ind AS advance tax net-off entries
- Work on Deferred Tax (DTA/DTL) and current tax workings
- Perform balance sheet variance analysis and clearing
- Collate MSMED balances and pass required reclassifications
- Support statutory and internal audit queries
- Maintain Intercompany Loan details in internal reporting tools
- Share business segment ICO revenue details with FP&A
- Collate and validate entity output confirmations
C. Year-End Closing & Annual Compliance
- Execute all quarter-close activities for year-end close
- Prepare Notes to Accounts, including:
- Related Party disclosures
- MSMED schedules
- Subsidiaries & Associates disclosures
- Foreign exchange earnings and expenditure
- Variable commission finalization
- Support Cost Audit and management accounts
- Collate audited local financials for all entities
- Reconcile Reserves & Surplus and Revenue
- Collate Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Leave Encashment financials
D. Compliance & Company Secretarial Support
- Prepare Annual Performance Reports for subsidiaries
- Manage MSMED reporting on MCA portal
- Prepare and file DPT-3 returns
- File FLA (Foreign Liabilities & Assets) returns
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of statutory schedules and filings
E. Other Responsibilities
- Share periodic TDS details with internal teams
- Support ad-hoc data requests from Corporate Finance and FP&A
3. Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS and IFRS
- Hands-on experience with consolidation systems (FCCS or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and eliminations
- Experience in statutory reporting and audit support
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP / Oracle ERP systems, and financial templates

4. Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CMA / M.Com (Finance / Accounting)
- 68 years of experience in corporate accounting, consolidation, or controllership
- Experience working with global entities preferred
- Prior exposure to audit, statutory reporting, or controllership roles desirable
