Role. - Senior Manager -Quality Assurance

Job Location - Pune

Qualification - B.E/ B Tech with 70% / 7 CGPA or higher in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering

Role:

To lead the overall QA function (incoming quality, in process quality, outgoing quality, vendor parts quality & export supply quality) for the manufacturing location while interfacing with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

- Independent handling of all QA functions for High-end Sports bikes

- Adopting and developing new quality standards, processes, for sustaining and improving product quality

- Leading and developing a diverse team for new capabilities and high performance. Ensuring team performance in regard to DWM, SIR of parts as per plan

- Examining the outgoing vehicle quality for functional, aesthetic, safety etc.

- Ensuring products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards.

- Process audit at vendors & shops for verification of system compliance.

- Understanding customer expectations and needs from the product.

- Developing and improving supplier quality

- Knowledge of New product development process.

- Interface with R&D for rectifying quality issues and analysis

- Audits- Internal and vendor quality, TPM

- Analyzing statistical reports on quality standards and suggesting corrective measures

- Field failure analysis along with CQA - EFR / Warranty & initiating actions

- Guide concerned departments & vendors for implementing corrective & preventive actions

Specific expertise required for functional area:

- NCDS - New Component Development Systems

- Quality processes, frameworks and standards. Knowledge of Quality tools such as:

- 7QC tools,

- Fault-tree analysis,

- 8D reports,

- Shainin system,

- Cp-Cpk methodology,

- Stack-up analysis

- Knowledge on New Model development as per APQP process on Quality roles.
