About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Project Cost Controller to support large-scale construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Controls & Reporting

- Monitor project schedules, adherence, and progress

- Manage change orders, punch lists, and scope tracking

- Prepare daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly progress reports

- Maintain accurate meeting minutes and project documentation

Planning & Coordination

- Track master project plans with Site Managers and suppliers

- Coordinate across Design, Procurement, and Site teams

- Monitor daily activities, identify issues, and escalate when required

- Ensure compliance with defined processes and timelines

Financial & Cost Management

- Track investments, invoices, and payments

- Monitor cash flow and project financial health

- Analyze budget vs actuals and identify deviations

- Support project financial closure and audits

Procurement & Logistics

- Follow up on tendering and procurement processes

- Coordinate with logistics teams for timely material delivery

- Work with contractors and external agencies for smooth execution

Project Closure

- Ensure proper documentation and handover at project completion

- Support internal audits and financial closure processes

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (MBA or Finance background is a plus)

- 12-15 years of experience in construction project management or cost control

- Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, and execution

- Exposure to fast-paced, dynamic project environments

Skills Required:

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project

- Advanced Excel skills

- Strong understanding of construction methods and site execution

- Experience in project scheduling and cost tracking

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication and coordination skills
