About the Role & Team:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager II to lead Grocery Buying Design across our pan-India fulfillment centers. This role is critical to ensuring timely and e- client in warding of goods aligned with supply planning cycles, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting complex event execution. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, high service levels, and vendor performance management in one of fastest-growing verticals..

You are Responsible for:

- Lead a high-performing team of Vendor Operations Managers to drive timely scheduling and appointment-based inwarding of materials across Grocery FCs nationwide.

- Ensure adherence to the planning cycle with complete alignment between vendors, transporters, and FC teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly supply plans.

- Maintain and monitor an instock level of 95% or higher across all FCs, even during high-volume sale events and festive seasons.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Category, Demand Planning, and FC Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.

- Own and execute advanced planning for national events and demand spikes, incorporating forecast variability and ensuring upstream readiness.

- Build and mentor a robust team, ensuring high engagement, clarity in responsibilities, and continuous performance improvement.

- Identify process gaps and implement automation or scalable solutions to improve inwarding e- ciency and reduce turnaround times.

To succeed in this role - you should have the following

- 8-12 years of experience in supply chain planning, vendor operations, or fulfillment center logistics, preferably in FMCG, eCommerce, or retail.

- Proven track record in managing large teams and delivering results in a high-pressure, high-volume environment.

- Strong understanding of supply planning cycles, vendor management, and warehouse operations.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage ambiguity, make quick decisions, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
