
PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Plan, direct, organize or coordinate resources necessary to assure Target supply chain ethically delivers safe and quality owned brand products to guests throughout the product's lifecycle, in a systematic approach.
- Effectively measure, monitor and report on the qualitative aspects of a specified tangible or non-tangible output to drive supply quality excellence.
- Oversee a team of quality engineers engaged in quality activities throughout product's life cycle.
- Lead or participate global QMS projects & regional continuous improvement projects to drive excellence of product/supply quality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in engineering and/or technical disciplines equivalent and/or retail compliance, quality management, product or manufacturing industry equivalent
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in industry
- Minimum 4 years in supervisory/management capacity with similar operational scope and complexity
- Experience with a US or European based corporation
- In depth knowledge of US/Canada regulatory and safety requirements (QA)
- Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and local language
- Strategic thinking and ability to plan, lead, organize and execute - Result orientated, self-motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic
- Committed to continuous learning
- Ability to travel locally and/or internationally
- Ability to perceive and differentiate between colors
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office software applications
- Ability to use Analytical or scientific software in the work
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in retail purchasing operations
- Experience in leading a cross cultural team
- Certified Quality Manager, Engineer or Quality Auditor preferred
- Lean or 6 Sigma certified preferred
- Experienced in project management preferred
