Senior Manager Procurement:
Senior Manager Procurement will be involved in formulating and executing procurement strategies, optimizing costs, and ensuring the highest standards of quality for products and services. The ideal candidate will be focused on maximizing value while maintaining quality standards and compliance with regulations.
Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop procurement strategies to optimize costs and quality, aligning with the companys objectives.
- Identify and engage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand purchasing needs and provide guidance.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery and payment.
- Monitor supplier performance and market trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze purchasing data to inform decision-making and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile invoices and budgets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and hospitality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with specialization in procurement, or project management serve as an advantage.
- Minimum 15+years experience in procurement, engineering, and project management roles, with significant exposure to the hotel, retail, and real estate industries.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities, including contract management and risk mitigation strategies.
Reporting structure: The Senior Manager Procurement will report to the Head of Procurement.
