Senior Manager - Procurement & Supply Chain - Internet/Online

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.

- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate prices and contracts within defined timelines.

- Procure parts and materials at competitive rates.

- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure seamless operations and regulatory compliance.

- Maintain a reference guide for price points and new service offerings; stay updated on market trends.

- Prepare comparative cost estimations based on collected proposals.

- Maintain supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.

- Coordinate with stores to determine and manage inventory requirements.

- Ensure all procured items meet required quality standards and specifications.

- Take responsibility for the quality of supplied materials.

- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.

- Forecast pricing and market trends to support strategic decisions.

- Monitor and predict upcoming demand levels.

- Oversee inventory control and ensure proper documentation for stock indenting, receiving, and issuing.

- Maintain accurate documentation for easy retrieval and compliance.

Requirements:

- MBA in any stream, preferably in Supply Chain Management.

- 15-20 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.

- Experience handling capital expenditure projects.

- Strong background in stores and purchasing, including procurement of imported equipment and chemicals (preferred).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong presentation and communication abilities.

- Proven team management and leadership skills.

- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
