Job Purpose:
Support the execution of the Procurement strategy by managing sourcing, supply, material management, and supplier performance. Ensure alignment with business objectives, support strategic procurement initiatives, and contribute to operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Support:
- Assist in implementing the organization's procurement strategy aligned with business goals.
- Monitor market and industry trends to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure procurement efforts are aligned with operational needs.
2. Procurement Operations:
- Contribute to the development of procurement plans, category strategies, and supplier performance frameworks.
- Support procurement planning, forecasting, and execution activities to ensure reliable supply and distribution.
- Help track procurement savings, spend targets, and KPIs for performance management.
3. Supplier & Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain accurate databases of suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Assist in managing supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance.
- Coordinate procurement communications and reporting across departments.
4. Process & System Support:
- Support the implementation and integration of procurement systems and tools.
- Help maintain data integrity across demand planning, material management, and supply systems.
- Ensure process alignment between procurement and other operational functions.
5. Team Collaboration & Resource Coordination:
- Collaborate with team members to meet procurement objectives and deadlines.
- Assist in training, development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics, ensuring compliance with targets.
