What You'll Do (Roles & Responsibilities)
As the People & Culture Lead, you'll:
- Think like a product owner while building culture - streamline every step of the employee journey, from hiring to exit, to eliminate friction and maximize engagement.
- Use data, not guesswork - build dashboards and insights that help the business make smarter, people-driven decisions.
- Sell a vision, not just a job - attract top talent by showcasing our mission, purpose, and culture authentically through strong employer branding.
- Design and execute people initiatives that foster belonging, performance, and growth.
- Partner with leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Build scalable and data-driven People Operations, automating processes and improving efficiency using HR tools and Excel-based automation.
- Establish a strong foundation for Learning & Development, creating growth paths and skill enhancement programs from the ground up.
- Create and nurture a positive, high-trust, and fun work culture that makes people love what they do every day.
Technical Competencies:
- Education: Any degree - we value your ability to craft great experiences over specific qualifications.
- Talent Acquisition: Skilled in end-to-end hiring across roles and domains (role-agnostic recruitment).
- People Operations: Expertise in Excel (advanced formulas, automations) and HRMS tools (preferably Keka). Ability to manage payroll, onboarding, exit formalities, and employee data automation.
- People Partnering: Deep understanding of startup culture with a track record of implementing impactful engagement programs tied to business goals.
- Learning & Development: Comfortable setting up L&D frameworks from scratch and navigating new, undefined areas.
