Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Operations Sr. Manager to lead multi-site operations, drive operational excellence, and deliver sustainable profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in greenfield/brownfield project execution, manufacturing strategy, planning, quality and automation and especially within the jewellery, automotive, heavy engineering, or similar precision-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Operations

- Lead and manage end-to-end operations across multi-location units.

- Align manufacturing operations with business objectives to improve cost-efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

- Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing and business strategies.

- Successfully execute Greenfield/Brownfield projects from concept to commissioning.

2. Operational Excellence & Systems

- Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) frameworks using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Multi-skilling, etc.

- Drive continuous improvement across workflows to enhance performance and eliminate waste.

3. Automation & Digital Transformation

- Lead automation initiatives including robotics, AI-driven systems, and digital process optimization.

- Contribute to strategic technology projects focused on enhancing capacity and process reliability.

4. Quality, EHS & Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, statutory compliance, and EHS protocols across all sites.

5. People Development

- Build and nurture high-performance teams across blue- and white-collar workforce segments.

- Foster a culture of safety, discipline, innovation, and accountability.

Education:

- B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical or Automation or Production Engineering

- Alumni of reputed institute

Experience:

- Minimum 15 years in plant operations, manufacturing, or works management

- At least 7-10 years in senior leadership roles

- Exposure to automobile, auto-ancillary, jewellery, heavy engineering, process industry, or similar sectors
