Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our Transaction Strategy & Diligence team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advising clients on complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in due diligence, corporate strategy, and operational analysis, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality insights in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support strategic due diligence for M&A transactions, including mergers, integrations, spin-offs, and divestitures.
- Conduct comprehensive options analyses and provide data-driven recommendations to clients.
- Assist clients with strategic planning, business reviews, market entry strategies, international expansion, and market opportunity sizing.
- Develop and deliver high-quality strategic analyses, reports, and presentations for client audiences.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with team members and clients, fostering a productive teamwork environment.
- Collect and analyze relevant business and industry trend information, applying advanced numerical and strategic analysis techniques.
- Manage discrete sections of work, ensuring delivery against tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Contribute to new business development and pursuit activities, including proposal development.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
Required:
- Demonstrated intimate knowledge and a proven record of success in due diligence, corporate strategy, or transaction advisory roles within professional services, private equity, or corporate organizations.
- Strong understanding of the various facets of M&A transactions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex material effectively in both written and oral formats.
- Proven ability to plan, multi-task, and balance priorities effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
- High proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Experience:
Industry Experience:
- Prior operational experience in one or more of the following functional areas is highly preferred: Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, or Technology.
Sector Experience:
- Candidates with experience in the following sectors will be given preference:
- Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT is highly preferred)
- Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Healthcare (Payer/Provider)
- Industrials, Automotive, Chemicals
- Retail & Consumer Goods
Professional Background:
- Prior experience in Consulting (Strategy, Management, or Technology) or direct Deal experience (M&A, integrations, divestitures, standalone analysis, run rate cost estimation, management estimate validation, and forecasting) is highly desirable.
Educational Background:
- MBA in Strategy or Operations from a premier Business School
