Desired Experience :  - CA with 6-8 years of work experience in the field of Mortgage Credit Policy of which last 2 years must have been in Affordable housing space in a credit/risk role  - MBA/ICWA/other Post Graduates having work experience of 6-8 yrs in the field of mortgage risk / credit of which last 2 years must have been in Affordable housing space in a credit/risk role  - The candidate should have prior experience in mortgage risk managing Pan India level - preferred  - Must possess excellent communication as well as writing skills  Key Objective of the Job :  - Developing, implementing the best practices in the Affordable Housing Finance Segment & supervising the Credit checks/controls aspects across the locations.  - Management & supervision of the portfolio ensure quality & stable book growth.  - Mentoring & guiding the field team whenever necessary in day to day operations and problem solving especially w.r.t the policy aspects.  - Evaluate the quality & effectiveness of Credit Managers underwriting skills, Vendor's functioning, regulatory compliance as well as the compliance of internal policy norms and strive for continual improvement in conformation with company's standards of best quality and services excellence.  Major Deliverables :  - Manage overall functioning of portfolio monitoring in the assigned area including planning, developing, organizing and guiding/advising the field team in accordance with the standards of the company's model.  - New product development & policy amendments in the assigned area in accordance with the best standards, market practices  - Credit Underwriting of cases at risk/policy level recommended by the location credit manager/RCM from across all the locations. TAT & Quality here is paramount.  - Portfolio reviews on regular basis, preparation of presentations & present the findings  - Act on the initial information report (IIR) and seek feedback of the collection team and take necessary action to resolve them/roll back to normalcy  - Monitoring & managing the delinquency level & bounce % both in terms of no of contracts as well as value  - Monitoring of PDDs across the portfolio level and keep them within the acceptable norm.  - Monitoring of high value cases on regular basis & ensures the best quality of portfolio  - Conducting valuation cross audits of assets funded by the company and share the findings to the management as well as present them in the review meetings  - Monitoring of portfolio triggers at the portfolio level and ensuring the criteria are aligned to the norms  - Location visit whenever is required and file reviews to evaluate the quality and adherence to the policy norms  - Monitoring the APF projects and cross check its approval process which must be in accordance with the best standards. APF conversion summary is to be presented in review meetings. Tracking of APF Masters.  - Responsible for risk analytics w.r.t portfolio mix, product programme & profile, policy trigger monitoring, deviation analysis etc.  - Monitoring of the sourcing agency/channels and publication of channel risk scorecard  - IT enableness  - Conduct trainings to the CPAs, Credit Managers on regular basis  - Branch visits as & when required or on regular basis  - Any other actionable desired suitable by the company.  Educational Qualification :  - CA/MBA  Other desired attributes :  - Candidate must be able to handle pressure and be flexible  - He/she must have excellent underwriting skills in the mortgage industry and should have handled at least 150-200 cases a month.
