StaffAnchor is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing startup in the corporate travel and MICE industry. The company is focused on delivering innovative and customized solutions for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions across domestic and international markets.
About the Role:
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in corporate travel and events, and proven expertise in closing MICE sales. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a scaling startup environment, where you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and building the client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients for MICE business
- Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Drive revenue through MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) opportunities
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, procurement teams, and decision-makers
- Understand client requirements and propose customized travel & event solutions
- Prepare proposals, pitch presentations, and negotiate commercial terms
- Collaborate with internal operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve targets
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-9 years of experience in corporate travel, MICE sales, or event management
- Demonstrated success in closing MICE deals and managing large accounts
- Strong network within corporate clients in Delhi NCR
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Highly target-driven and self-motivated
Preferred Background:
- Experience with Travel Management Companies (TMCs), event agencies, or DMCs
- Good understanding of domestic & international MICE destinations
- MBA or relevant degree in Business, Hospitality, or Tourism
