Job Title - Senior Manager - Merchandise Procurement & Operations

Role Overview-

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager - Merchandise Procurement & Operations to lead end-to-end procurement, vendor management, brand alliances, and warehouse operations for our merchandise vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, experience in managing vendor relationships, and the ability to streamline supply chain processes while ensuring product quality and timely

Responsibilities

1) Brand Merchandise Procurement

- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for brand merchandise, including sourcing, quotation management, negotiation, and vendor finalization.

- Ensure timely, cost-effective procurement without compromising on product quality or brand standards.

2) Strategic Alliances & Brand Management

- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with leading brands for exclusive merchandise collaborations.

- Drive white-label product development initiatives aligned with client requirements.

- Regularly update and manage the Brand Merchandise Portal with new product lines and promotional offers.

3) Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard relevant brands and vendors to enrich the merchandise portfolio.

- Oversee product sampling, quality checks, and margin negotiations during vendor onboarding.

- Manage the full vendor lifecycle including communication, performance tracking, and relationship management.

- Supervise petty cash management and ensure timely and accurate processing of POs and vendor payments.

Key Skills Must Have

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)

- 8-12 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or merchandising, preferably in a retail, loyalty, or gifting environment

- Proven experience managing warehouse and logistics operations

- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills

- Commercial acumen with deep understanding of procurement strategies

- Strategic thinking and collaboration experience with brands

- Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination

- Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement tools
