As a Senior Manager (Manufacturing Operations) you will be at the heart of our production planning and outsourcing strategy. Own daily production performance tracking across OEE, throughput, downtime, waste, changeover loss, quality yield, and manpower productivity; use data to identify gaps and drive corrective actions. You will also build the outsourcing strategy for new product launches.
You will report to the Head of Operations and also work closely with founder and senior leadership from day one, owning metrics that directly drive gross margin and consumer delight.

- Lead the monthly production and capacity planning, identify opportunities to increase capacity to cater to the growing demand
- Own daily plant performance across output, OEE, downtime, yield, waste, and plan adherence; identify gaps and drive corrective actions with speed.
- Run production planning and shift execution to ensure smooth line operation, optimal manpower deployment, and on-time fulfillment of production targets.
- Track and improve key shopfloor metrics through dashboards, root-cause analysis, and structured review routines.
- Lead bottleneck removal across the production process by coordinating with quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply teams.
- Monitor material consumption, reject rates, rework, and process losses to improve efficiency and reduce operating cost.
- Ensure consistent compliance with quality, food safety, and plant SOPs across all shifts and lines.
- Drive changeover optimization, line balancing, and productivity improvement initiatives to increase throughput.
- Build strong on-ground discipline through active supervision, daily performance reviews, and escalation handling.
- Translate plant data into actionable insights for leadership, with clear reporting on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Take ownership of unresolved operational issues and work across functions to close them with urgency and accountability.
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) : tracks availability, performance, and quality of the line.
- Throughput : actual production versus plan, by line, shift, and SKU.
- Downtime and micro-stops : unplanned stoppages, reasons, and recovery time.
- Yield and wastage/scrap : raw material loss, rejects, rework, and process waste.
- Changeover time : time lost during SKU or batch switches.
- Takt adherence / plan attainment : whether production pace matches demand.
- Quality metrics : defect rate, first-pass yield, rejection rate, and complaints linked back to production.
- Manpower productivity : output per operator, shift productivity, absenteeism, and utilization.
- Maintenance-related KPIs : breakdown frequency, MTTR, MTBF, and planned vs unplanned maintenance.
- Bachelors in engineering or related field from a tier-1 institution - IIT or BITS.
- 2-3 years of total work experience
