The Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Senior Manager is responsible for leading engineering teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure operational excellence across multiple facilities or large-scale operations. This role requires strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership to align manufacturing capabilities with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead and manage the Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering function across plants or business units.


- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.


- Oversee plant layout, workflow optimization, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency.


- Drive lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.


- Partner with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless new product introductions.


- Establish and monitor KPIs to track operational performance and drive accountability.


- Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital solutions.


- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.


- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.


- Provide technical and strategic input to executive leadership for long-term manufacturing planning.


Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Masters preferred).


- 12+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.


- Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and large-scale process optimization.


- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.


- Experience managing engineering teams in mid-to-large organizations with complex operations.


- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
