Senior Manager/Manager - Trade Finance - Bank

Job Description:

- Handle Trade Finance transactions including Import LC Issuance, LC Amendment, Export LC Advising, LC Amendment and LC Confirmation.

- Manage Bank Guarantees including opening, amendment, commission claims, cancellation and invocation.

- Handle Loans & Local LC Discounting, including pre-shipment/post-shipment finance and export bill purchase/negotiation.

- Manage Reimbursing Financing and Buyers Credit transactions.

- Handle issuance and processing of various types of Letters of Credit, LC Confirmations, Transfer of LCs, LC Negotiation and LC Settlement.

- Handle Export Advising of LCs and SBLCs, including creation of Transferable LCs.

- Ensure adherence to transaction processes, procedures and applicable Trade Finance guidelines.

- Prepare management reports, business reports, customer performance reports and new business proposals.

- Identify and convert potential business opportunities to maximize revenue and customer value.

- Manage relationships with Promoters, CEOs and CFOs of key clients.

- Build and manage a pipeline of key accounts and ensure smooth deal execution.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant Trade Finance / Branch Banking Operations experience.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Import & Export Trade Finance.

- Excellent understanding of Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and Trade Finance transactions.

- Experience in LC Issuance, Advising, Confirmation, Amendment, Negotiation and Settlement.

- Knowledge of Buyers Credit, Reimbursing Finance and Bill Discounting.

- Strong client-handling and stakeholder-management skills.

- Experience managing corporate / key-account relationships will be preferred.
