Senior Manager/Manager - Sourcing & Quality - Packaging Material

Must be handling 200-250 vendors and complex PM purchase like 3000-4000 PM items.

Senior Manager/Manager - Sourcing & Quality for Packaging Material will lead the strategic sourcing and quality assurance activities for all packaging materials. This role ensures the procurement of high-quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Sourcing:

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for packaging materials.

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

- Ensure the best quality, service, and value for products through effective bidding and negotiation.

Quality Assurance:

- Establish and maintain quality standards for packaging materials.

- Conduct regular supplier audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.

- Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers promptly.

Supplier Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as needed.

- Ensure continuity of supply and manage risks associated with supplier performance.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and develop a team of sourcing and quality professionals.

- Provide coaching, training, and performance management to team members.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Cost Management:

- Manage the budget for packaging materials and achieve cost savings targets.

- Analyze market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.

- Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.

Process Adherence

- Ensure data revalidation of SAP Master and ISO Documentation

- Analyse non-conformance CAPA from suppliers for major non-conforming supplies on monthly basis

- Generate & provide MIS for all divisions related to quality

- Carry out internal & external audits to ensure adherence to all compliance norms. Executing the audit relation action & completion.

- Ensure statutory compliance norms are met for all transactions / agreements
