Senior Manager/Manager - Procurement & Supply Chain - Textile/Home Furnishings

Title: Senior Manager / Manager - Procurement / Supply Chain (Textile / Home Furnishings / Carpets / Rugs)

Location: Jaipur

Role Profile:

Planning:

- Prepare order-wise delivery commitments, raw material requirements, and available manufacturing capacity.

- Coordinate with Dyeing, Weaving, Finishing, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure realistic schedules and uninterrupted material flow.

- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) across production stages; identify bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions to protect shipment timelines.

- Track and improve:

1. Lead time adherence

2. Plan adherence (%)

3. Schedule deviations

- Prepare and circulate planning MIS reports highlighting lead indicators for operational risks and delivery performance.

Procurement & Vendor Management:

- Plan and execute procurement of wool, wool blends, yarns, dyes, chemicals, packing materials, and items.

- Develop and manage approved supplier base ensuring quality, consistency, compliance, and cost competitiveness.

- Track on-time material availability (%), inventory turnover ratio, and raw material cost variance; negotiate prices, payment terms, MOQs, and delivery schedules.

- Align procurement plans with production schedules to prevent:

1. Loom stoppages

2. Excess inventory

3. Urgent purchasing premiums

Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills:

- Graduate / Post-Graduate in Textiles, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field with 8-16 years of experience with basic reasoning, logical & numerical analysis skills as well as be fluent in Hindi & English in speaking, writing and reading.

- Working knowledge of wool & premium wool blend raw materials, weaving processes, yarn consumption, dyeing, washing & finishing.

- Experience in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and inventory management.

- Vendor negotiation and sourcing skills.

- Data-driven decision making ability and ERP exposure.

- Good and assertive at coordination, problem-solving, and execution skills.
