Role Overview: As the Head of Demand Planning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping company's supply chain by forecasting demand, partnering across functions, and enabling seamless product availability for millions of customers. This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting & Projections: - Lead and manage demand forecasting for multiple product categories and SKUs across diverse geographies. - Analyze sales data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable forecasts. Production & Distribution Planning: - Drive the end-to-end production planning process in close coordination with manufacturing units; monitor production status and proactively resolve bottlenecks. - Plan and oversee efficient product distribution to warehouses, ensuring optimal inventory levels. Data Analysis: - Leverage statistical models and historical trends to develop accurate forecasts. - Investigate variances, research demand drivers, and continuously refine forecast models and assumptions in sync with sales and marketing intelligence. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Act as the bridge between sales, marketing, procurement, and manufacturing teams to gather business insights and align on demand planning objectives. - Provide critical inputs for inventory strategies, new product launches, and end-of-life planning. Business Partnering: - Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing to shape inventory strategies for current and upcoming products. What Were Looking For: - Experience: 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in demand planning, preferably in manufacturing, consumer goods, or related sectors. - Educational Background: MBA (preferably in Operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering) from a reputed institute, along with an Engineering degree. - Strong command of data analysis, forecasting tools, and statistical methodologies. - Solid understanding of sales, production, and end-to-end supply chain processes. - Experience working with cross-functional teams; strong stakeholder management. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - High ownership, ability to multi-task, and a focus on results.
