Senior Manager/Manager - Business Analyst - Steel Manufacturing

We are hiring Business Analyst for Steel Manufacturing Company in Bhubaneswar.

Position: Manager/ Sr. Manager

- Department: Business Strategy/ Finance

- Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst will support strategic decision-making by analyzing company Financial data, including Procurement, Production cost, Inventory and Sales performance.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze Financial and Operational data related to Purchase, Production, Inventory, and Sales.

- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and financial models for management review.

- Monitor procurement cost trends, vendor performance, and pricing fluctuations in raw materials such as iron ore, coal, scrap, etc.

- Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual), identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

- Work closely with Finance, Commercial, Production, and Sales teams to gather data and improve process efficiency.

- Assist the MD in strategic planning through actionable insights and Business forecasts.

- Ensure data accuracy and consolidate company-wide reports for decision-making.

- Drive process improvements using data-driven insights.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance / commerce / business administration (MBA in Finance preferred).

Experience: 5 - 10 years in Financial/Business analysis. Preferably from Steel or Manufacturing Industry.
