Role Overview:

The Senior Manager - IPO role is a critical position responsible for leading and executing Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) for the firm's clients. This role involves working closely with internal teams, including investment banking, legal, and compliance, as well as external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, auditors, and legal counsel. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding companies through the IPO process, ensuring compliance, and maximizing value for the client.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end IPO execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and regulatory requirements for client companies.

- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential IPO candidates, identifying key risks and opportunities for the Investment Banking team.

- Develop and review financial models and valuation analyses to determine optimal pricing strategies for IPOs, supporting informed decision-making.

- Prepare and review offer documents, including prospectuses and red herring prospectuses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines for regulatory bodies.

- Coordinate with legal counsel, auditors, and other advisors to ensure smooth and compliant IPO processes, mitigating potential risks.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment within the team.

- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, providing insights to clients and internal teams to adapt IPO strategies effectively.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and regulatory bodies, enhancing the firm's reputation and deal flow.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute IPO transactions from inception to completion.

- Strong understanding of financial risk management principles and their application in IPO processes.

- Proven expertise in merchant banking practices, including due diligence, valuation, and regulatory reporting.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate law and compliance requirements related to IPOs.

- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, investors, and regulatory bodies.

- Experience in equity research, M&A, corporate finance, private equity, and investment banking operations is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
