Senior Manager - Internal Audit - NBFC

About the Role:

We are hiring for Senior Manager - Internal Audit for one of the leading NBFC based in Mumbai.

Candidate Requirements:

- Candidates must have experience in LAP or HL.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement risk-based internal audit plans aligned with organizational objectives.

- Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management and the Board.

- Ensure adherence to regulations of NHB, RBI, SEBI etc.

- Identify design level gaps and operating effectiveness gaps in the processes being audited.

- Effective engagement with the stakeholders and seek comprehensive management action plan to address the audit issue.

- Provide audit recommendations based on root cause analysis of the audit issue, significant process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

- Assist in reporting to the Audit Committee on audit progress, findings, and recommendations.

- Assist in submissions to regulatory authorities for audit-related matters during the regulatory inspection.

- Ensure departmental compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), adherence to audit manual and policies.

- Implement quality assurance processes for internal audit practices.

- Demonstrate professional skepticism in conduct of internal audits.

- Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate their impact on internal audit processes.

- Knowledge of ICAI and IIA Standards and methodology, attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills.
