
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage industrial relations in a large-scale metal/engineering manufacturing unit.
- Establish and maintain positive relations with unions, contract labor, and government authorities.
- Handle wage negotiations, settlements, and collective bargaining in the metal/engineering sector.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements under labor laws (Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Minimum Wages Act, PF, ESIC, etc.).
- Lead grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings, and domestic inquiries.
- Liaise with labor departments, local authorities, and government agencies for smooth operations.
- Develop and implement IR strategies to maintain industrial peace and productivity.
- Drive workforce engagement, safety culture, and welfare initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, statutory registers, and timely submission of returns.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Male candidate with 7 years of proven IR experience in the metal/manufacturing/heavy engineering sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance, and industrial dispute management.
- Strong experience in union handling and conflict resolution.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills in Hindi, English, and local language (preferred).
- Ability to manage large workforce dynamics in a factory environment.
Qualification : Postgraduate in HR/IR/Labour Welfare or equivalent.
