Job Description: The Head - Industrial Relations (IR) will lead employee relations, statutory compliance, and union management for waste management operations in Hyderabad. The role involves managing a large and diverse workforce engaged in Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Collection, Transportation, Processing, and allied operations. The position requires strong expertise in union negotiations, grievance handling, statutory compliance, and liaison with government authorities to ensure operational continuity and harmonious industrial relations. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary interface with local unions, labour representatives, and government authorities in Hyderabad. - Lead collective bargaining, wage settlements, and union negotiations. - Ensure compliance with Telangana labour laws, Factories Act, CLRA, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements. - Drive grievance redressal, employee engagement, and disciplinary processes to maintain workplace harmony. - Liaise with the Industries Department, Labour Commissioner, and statutory authorities for compliance and dispute resolution. - Support operational leaders in new projects, expansions, and contract transitions with proactive IR strategies. - Implement policies, SOPs, and early-warning mechanisms to prevent IR disruptions.
