
Position: Senior Manager - Industrial Infrastructure (Civil)

Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Project Leadership
- End-to-End Governance: Oversee the planning, design, and construction of heavy industrial infrastructure from greenfield inception to final commissioning.
- Workforce Management: Lead a department of civil/structural engineers and site managers, fostering a culture of technical rigor and safety.
- Consultant Oversight: Select and manage Tier-1 engineering consultancies, ensuring their deliverables align with the project's strategic goals.
- Collaborate and lead in all levels - DXB Managers / Indian Engineers / Consultants
B. Technical Authority & Design Management
C. C. Financial & Risk Governance
D. D. Compliance, HSE & QA/QC
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Hard Skills
- Deep Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Reinforced Concrete (RCC), Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), and Heavy Equipment Foundations.
- Software Proficiency: Design: Expert-level understanding of outputs from STAAD. Ro, SAP2000, or AutoCAD Civil 3D. o Management: Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project for critical path analysis.
- Codes & Standards: Comprehensive knowledge of international codes (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, IS or British Standards).
- Project Planning & reporting: 2 months look ahead planning + Support Project managers in Progress reporting (Fortnight/monthly) Soft Skills & Leadership
- Executive Communication: Ability to translate complex engineering constraints into business terms for C-suite executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Crisis Management: Resilience to lead teams through field-based challenges, design failures, or shifting regulatory requirements.
- Negotiation: Proven ability to manage aggressive contractors and vendors to maintain project quality and timelines.
4. Education & Certifications
- Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Will be added advantage: Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng/MICE).
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent experience in managing large-scale infrastructure portfolios.
5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Schedule Variance (SV): Percentage of project milestones met on or before the baseline date.
2. Budget Adherence: Maintaining project costs within the approved CAPEX.
3. Safety Record: Maintaining a Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) of zero.
4. Design Efficiency: Documented cost savings achieved through Value Engineering.
