Role Overview:
- This position leads the HR function for a large-scale upcoming large infrastructure project.
- The role involves setting up HR operations for both on-roll and contractual employees, ensuring statutory compliance, managing industrial relations, and partnering with leadership for end-to-end site HR management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Site Operations:
- Establish HR processes for a large industrial site
- Implement HR frameworks for onboarding, engagement, performance & exits
- Ensure seamless coordination between site teams, facilities & leadership
2. Industrial Relations & Compliance:
- Maintain a healthy IR environment
- Manage union/labor interactions when required
- Ensure full compliance with statutory & labor laws
- Handle grievances, inquiries & disciplinary actions
3. Workforce Management:
- Manage deployment of on-roll and contract manpower
- Ensure productivity, safety & workforce discipline
- Support leadership in daily site operations
4. Culture & Capability Development:
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability & collaboration
- Drive L&D initiatives based on site requirements
- Act as the custodian of values and workplace ethics
Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in HR
- 5-7 years of experience in HR
- Minimum 2 years in plant / industrial HR / IR
- Working knowledge of labor laws & compliance
- Strong stakeholder and leadership interaction skills
- Greenfield project experience is a plus
