- Leading and coaching sub sector team through scoping, execution, and delivery of company analysis and recommendations (annual, quarterly, and ad-hoc updates)
- Ensuring analysis and recommendations are complete, accurate, and actionable
- Embedding knowledge transfer and daily coaching in interactions with assigned team
- Ensuring best practices, methods, new data sources, tips & tricks are captured and catalogued centrally
- Developing and sustaining relationships with client teams on assigned companies
- Staying current on insights and themes from x-capability teams and ensure they inform analysis
- Tracking, monitoring, and following up with client teams on feedback
- Must have specific Skills (Example : SQL, Tableau, SAS, Project management, Business Development, etc)
- Demonstrates knowledge and/or proven record of success either in a professional consulting services or corporate roles (9+ years of experience), in one or more of the following sectors:
Health services and higher education, i.e.:
- US payers (health insurers)
- US providers (hospital systems, lab testing)
- US higher education and not-for-profit organizations
- Pharmaceuticals and life sciences (PLS), i.e.
- Pharmaceuticals (big pharma, biotech, specialty or generic drugs)
- Medical devices, life sciences tools, distributors, contract development and manufucturing organizations / contract research organizations
- Pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers
- In-depth knowledge of one or more resources/data sets such as the below would be greatly valued:
Health services data sets:

- S&P Global / SNL (payer statutory financials)

The Candidate should have deep experience in public / private company analysis, with the following specific skills and capabilities:
- Ability to identify key priority growth areas for a company and recommend potential transformational initiatives that would result in margin improvement
- Ability to draw insights from a company's commercial strategy across multiple other inputs including cost and operating model, valuation, talent and culture, digital & cyber, ESG, macro and geopolitical, Risk and regulatory, and deals
- Robust knowledge and experience (9+ years) of one or more of the following sectors: Health services and higher education (i.e. health insurers, hospital systems, lab testing, higher education and not-for- profit organizations); and Pharmaceuticals and life sciences (i.e. big pharma, biotech, specialty or generic drugs; Medical devices, life sciences tools, distributors, contract development and manufacturing organizations / contract research organizations; Pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers)
- Comprehensive understanding of the industry / sector value chain for all segments, and ability to define the total addressable market, growth forecasts, competition and interactions, and value exchanges
- Ability to identify key market trends and what investments are required to align with market trends and strategic priorities
- Demonstrates exceptional project management skills (team quarterback) and ability to lead diverse teams across multiple capabilities and competencies
- Attention to detail with a focus on analytic quality and fusion
Analysts should also:
- Have impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Write reports and effectively communicate implications of analysis
- Troubleshoot project issues with the broader Insights Factory team and elevate to leadership as appropriate
