1. Purpose:

- This position is primarily responsible for facilitating the HSE & Sustainability implementation and compliance at locations in India through deep engagement with the manufacturing and sales teams based at the respective locations and meaningful coordination with the Site Heads and Regional/ Site Safety Coordinators.

- This position will be based out at Vizag- VX Plant and will administratively report to Plant Head & Functionally Corp. Head of HSE & Sustainability and will have 3 functional reports from APU's.

2. KRA:

- Meeting plant & central objectives on HSE & sustainability.

- Driving Key HSE & Sustainability agenda initiated by the organisation.

- Facilitating Technical topics of HSE & Sustainability engaging relevant functions. - Key elements are Zero Accident Vision, Energy efficiency/management, Water Management, Waste Management, assessment of value chain partner in sustainability perspective.

- Facilitating/Monitoring of agreed Engineering projects on Health, Safety & Sustainability at Plant level.

- Supporting Operation team with product related sustainability information.

3. Other Responsibilities:

- Conducting orientation or training on HSE & sustainability, engaging all requisite layers of the organisation.

- Support Plants to deliver regional & group H&S KPIs i.e. SIOPA, audit participations, DO reporting, horizontal deployment of lesson learnt.

- Conducting regular USHEC & Safety Committee meeting and support Plant management in implementing necessary actions.

- Engaging with key sustainability projects of the Plants'- ZLD, Rainwater Harvesting, Energy Audit, Zero Waste to Landfill, Reusable packaging etc

- Monthly reporting platform management, Internal reporting and Group reporting of HSE, EEW & MSR.

- Collaboration with cross functional team to manage roadblocks and delivering consistent performance.

- Manage certifications (i.e., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

- Supporting cross functional team to initiate & institutionalize Health, Safety & Sustainability Projects.

- Support plant to meet legal & other requirements

6. Geographical Coverage: entire VX Plant

7. Qualifications:

- BE/BTech with ADIS/PDIS or M Tech in Safety/ Environmental Engineering & Knowledge on Local Language (Telugu)

8. Experience:

- Min 10+ years of experience in managing HSE/Environment/Sustainability practices.

Knowledge:

- Management & Mitigation

- Understanding on H&S/Sustainability/ESG.

- VIL products and application processes at manufacturing and customer locations.

- Occupational Health/Hygiene or Environment management.

9. Skills & Behaviour:

- Ability to work and deliver results within specified time.

- Ability to communicate and interact with cross functional team- Frontline layers to VIL mid management level.

- Capable of working with multiple layers at manufacturing and sales in harmony.

- Willing to take up additional responsibility as and when required.

- Open to take responsibility at other location (Other than Vizag-VX) as per need.
