Senior Manager - Group Reporting

Location: Bangalore / Chennai

Job Description:

- Responsible for managing and delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality Group financial reporting in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end consolidation and reporting cycles.

- Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies.

- Liaise with global, regional, and country finance teams to ensure accuracy in reporting.

- Support preparation of financial disclosures for annual and interim reports.

- Provide analysis, variance commentary, and insights to senior management.

- Partner with external auditors and regulators to resolve queries and ensure smooth audits.

- Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency across reporting functions.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and review of consolidated Group financial statements.

- Delivery of management reporting packs and disclosures.

- Collaboration with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Business units.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory standards.

- Maintain reporting accuracy for balance sheet, P&L, and off-balance sheet items.

- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.

- 10-14 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or statutory reporting, preferably in banking/financial services.

- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial disclosures.

- Hands-on experience with consolidated accounts and complex structures.

- Proficiency in SAP, Hyperion, or similar financial reporting tools.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams.
