Scope: Global

Qualification: C.A.

About the role

The Financial Reporting team is looking for a Senior Manager Group Consolidation. This is a unique opportunity to join the world's leading company where you will be responsible for driving the group consolidation process and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting at a global level.

You will report directly to the Head of Group Reporting & Consolidation.

This position requires you to have a strong command of consolidation principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to see the bigger picture of how group results reflect the performance of the business. You will act as the key link between local finance teams, regional controllers, and group management.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and lead the full group financial consolidation process (monthly, quarterly, annual) to deliver accurate, complete and timely consolidated results in compliance with IFRS and internal policies.

- Deliver group-level financial statements, reporting packs, and disclosures for senior management, Board and external stakeholders, ensuring insight and transparency.

- Act as the guardian of group reporting integrity, ensuring consistent accounting treatments across all entities and challenging submissions to guarantee high-quality results.

- Manage and continuously improve the consolidation system, driving automation, standardization and efficiency across global reporting processes.

- Act as the primary contact for external auditors on group reporting and consolidation, leading discussions, addressing technical queries and ensuring smooth audit delivery.

- Take ownership of ad-hoc consolidation projects (e.g., new acquisitions, reorganizations, system migrations), ensuring smooth integration into group reporting with minimal disruption.

- Act as a thought leader in consolidation and reporting, mentoring junior team members and upskilling the wider finance community on best practices.

Ideal Candidate:

- 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, of which at least 4-5 years are directly in group consolidation and reporting at a multinational or complex organization.

- Deep technical expertise in IFRS (consolidation, inter-company eliminations, complex group structures, and foreign currency translation) with a proven ability to interpret and apply accounting standards in practice.

- Hands-on mastery of consolidation systems (SAP Group Reporting, BPC, Hyperion, or equivalent), with a track record of driving improvements and leveraging technology to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.

- Experience in FMCG or other fast-moving global industries where accuracy, speed, and scalability are critical.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial results to operational performance and provide meaningful insights to senior leadership.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a mindset to challenge assumptions, resolve discrepancies and ensure integrity of consolidated results.

- Leadership mindset - proactive, accountable, and capable of taking ownership end-to-end while coaching others to elevate team performance.

- Resilient, adaptable, and energized by working in a high-paced, evolving global environment.

Professional Attributes:

- Currently working in, or has spent at least 5 years in a Big 4 firm

- Should have exited the Big 4 at Senior Manager level or above

- Strong, hands-on accounting professional
