Senior Manager - Group Consolidation
Job Description:
- Own and lead the end-to-end group financial consolidation process across monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Deliver high-quality group financial statements, reporting packs, and disclosures for senior management, the Board, and external stakeholders, providing transparency and insight into group performance.
- Act as the custodian of group reporting integrity, ensuring consistent accounting treatments across all entities and appropriately challenging local submissions.
- Manage and continuously enhance the group consolidation system, driving automation, standardization, and efficiency across global reporting processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on group consolidation and reporting matters, leading technical discussions and ensuring smooth audit execution.
- Lead ad-hoc consolidation initiatives, including acquisitions, reorganizations, and system migrations, ensuring seamless integration into group reporting.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and thought leader in consolidation and reporting, mentoring team members and strengthening consolidation capabilities across the finance community.
What We Are Looking For:
- 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 4-5 years in group consolidation and reporting within a multinational or similarly complex organization.
- Deep technical expertise in IFRS, particularly in consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, complex group structures, and foreign currency translation.
- Strong, hands-on experience with consolidation systems such as SAP Group Reporting, SAP BPC, Hyperion, or equivalent, with a proven ability to drive system and process improvements.
- Experience within FMCG or other fast-paced, global environments where accuracy, speed, and scalability are essential.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link financial outcomes to operational performance and deliver meaningful insights to senior leadership.
