Purpose of Job: Looking for a Senior Manager, Grid Digitalization India for smart grid projects for the Indian market. The role is to drive business development activities in India and execute pilot projects for technology validation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct business development, working with customers to identify value propositions and novel business models - Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities and promote the company's smart grid products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives - Conduct research to identify new markets, industry trends and customer needs for smart grid technologies in India - Analysis of policy and regulatory boundary conditions and documentation to prepare strategic decisions - Full life-cycle project management of smart grid projects from proposal conception to execution and handover to the client. Efficient tracking of time, quality, and budget. - Collection of requirements from the customers and coordination with the development teams - Regular coordination with all project partners - Support Discoms to implement digitalization projects based on the smart grid technology Requirements: - Engineering Degree (B.Tech/M.Tech/MEng) in electrical / electronic engineering discipline is preferred. - MBA from Tier I/Tier II institution post Engineering Degree is preferred - At least five years of working experience in Business Development Management and/or Project Management - A solid understanding of the electricity system, especially electricity distribution, smart grids, Smart meter, Discom operations - Strong experience in the management of complex projects with multiple stakeholders and communication with them - Familiar with project management processes in an agile environment - Experience in managing different stakeholders and their expectations - A high level of customer-orientation - Excellent communication, relationship management, team building, strong writing, documentation, and interpersonal skills - A solution-oriented and open-minded attitude - Willing to travel extensively as required within the country - Reporting, engagement, and presentation at CXO level Job Details: The location would be Delhi NCR.
