We're hiring a Lead - OPCO General Ledger (Sr. Manager Level) for a leading global company with operations across Africa and headquartered in India.

Location: Gurugram, India

Function: Finance - Africa operations

This is a strategic finance role overseeing end-to-end general ledger and reporting processes for 14 operating countries across Africa. The role requires sharp accounting expertise, stakeholder management, and strong command over international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead monthly/quarterly financial closing and reporting under IFRS/local GAAP

- Ensure timely and accurate consolidation and audit support across countries

- Serve as the central point for GL governance and compliance

- Collaborate with country CFOs, auditors, and cross-functional leads

- Drive process improvements, internal controls, and risk mitigation initiatives

Ideal Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of relevant experience

- Strong hands-on knowledge of IFRS, audit, and multi-country finance operations

- Exposure to SAP and global accounting systems

- Ability to manage complexity across diverse geographies and teams

- Experience in a global or multinational business environment preferred
