Senior Manager Financial Reporting

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Group Finance team as Senior Manager Financial Reporting. The role is pivotal in driving external financial reporting across multiple international markets, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regional regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with in-country finance teams, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate statutory reports and regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive preparation and finalization of investor packs, presentations, and annual reports.

- Partner with regional finance teams to standardize reporting processes and improve data quality.

- Oversee consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A preparation.

- Stay updated with IFRS developments and ensure adoption across the organization.

- Collaborate with tax, treasury, compliance, and legal functions to ensure accurate disclosures.

- Provide guidance on accounting practices, operational issues, and contract compliance.

- Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, and strategic partners.

- Support automation of regulatory reporting and release of updated accounting guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

- 810 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with at least 3 years in a group/regional role.

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, multi-entity, and multi-country reporting.

- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel/financial reporting tools.

- Prior exposure to Fintech, Financial Services, or Telecom industries preferred.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with ability to work in cross-cultural environments.

- Experience working with Sub-Saharan Africa or international markets is a plus.
