We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Controller with 10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, IFRS audits, taxation, and group company reporting. The role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations including Record-to-Report (R2R), statutory compliance, financial planning, audit management, and financial automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights to leadership.

- Support business expansion and investment decisions with financial modelling.

Record to Report (R2R) & Financial Reporting:

- Manage complete R2R cycle including journal entries, reconciliation, accruals, and provisions.

- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial closures.

- Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and variance analysis.

- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards.

IFRS & Group Company Audits:

- Lead IFRS audit processes and ensure compliance with international accounting standards.

- Handle India statutory audits for group companies.

- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

- Develop and execute annual audit plans.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation matters including corporate tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

- Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize tax liabilities.

- Liaise with tax consultants and authorities when required.

Financial Controls & Bookkeeping:

- Supervise finance bookkeeping activities ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Strengthen internal controls and implement financial governance frameworks.

- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to SOPs.

SAP & Financial Systems:

- Hands-on experience in SAP (FI/CO modules preferred).

- Drive system improvements, process automation, and financial digitalization initiatives.

- Lead financial automation projects to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Indian GAAP

- Expertise in R2R and financial consolidation

- Advanced taxation and tax planning knowledge

- SAP proficiency (FI/CO preferred)

- Experience in financial automation and digital transformation

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability

- Excellent stakeholder and audit management skills

Educational Qualification:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred

- Relevant certifications in IFRS or SAP will be an added advantage
