1. Position Title - Senior Manager - Financial Planning

2. Salary Grade - Senior Manager

3. Job Position Summary The person will be responsible for market research, financial modelling and other strategic finance initiatives

4. Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct competition analysis and benchmark against domestic and international industry peers to identify market trends and insights.

2. Analyze monthly route level, market level, fleet level, business level, and channel-wise profitability reports to derive insights on margins and cost structures

3. Data management to ensure accuracy and consistency of data in profitability calculations

4. Support decision-making for new route launches or discontinuations

5. Collaborate with network planning, revenue management, and operations teams

6. Develop dashboards, visualizations to present key financial metrics

7. Implement automation and advanced analytics tools where applicable and identify opportunities to enhance profitability reporting process

8. SOP compilation to streamline operations and ensure procedural efficiency

5. Desired Qualification / certifications CA or MBA Finance from top tier B-school or CFA or B.E/ B Tech (Premier Institutes)

6. Preferred relevant work experience A total of 6-9 years of experience preferably in financial planning or equity research

7. Skills and knowledge Functional

a) Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

b) Power BI dashboarding

c) Strong understanding of financial accounting

d) Experience of using Reuters/Bloomberg screen

e) Advanced IT skills such as coding, SQL, R will be a plus
