We are hiring a Senior Manager - Finance (Revenue Cycle Management) for a leading, technology-driven healthcare organization.
- This role will own and optimize the end-to-end revenue cycle, ensuring that all services are accurately billed, efficiently realized, and fully reconciled. The mandate involves driving operational excellence across billing, claims, collections, and receivables while leveraging technology to improve efficiency and control leakages.
- This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO, with strong cross-functional exposure across clinical, operations, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Revenue Cycle Governance :
- Own the end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) framework
- Define policies for billing, credit approvals, collections, and reconciliations
- Monitor revenue realization and identify process gaps or leakages
2. Billing & Revenue Capture
Ensure accurate and complete billing across inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostics
Drive reduction in billing errors, missed charges, and revenue leakages
Manage pricing structures including corporate tariffs and insurance rate cards
Partner with operations to ensure complete and timely charge capture
3. Insurance & Claims Management
- Oversee end-to-end TPA and insurance claims lifecycle (cashless & reimbursement)
- Improve first-pass claim acceptance rates and reduce rejections
- Ensure adherence to turnaround timelines for submissions and closures
- Build effective relationships with insurers and TPA stakeholders
4. Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Own Accounts Receivable including ageing, tracking, and recovery
- Drive collections across corporate, insurance, and patient segments
- Monitor and optimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
Implement structured follow-up and escalation mechanisms
5. Cash Application & Reconciliation
- Ensure timely and accurate application of all receipts (cash, bank, digital, insurance)
- Lead reconciliation of receivables and settlements
- Maintain audit-ready records and minimize unreconciled balances
6. Reporting & Analytics
- Track and report key metrics including:
- DSO
- Collection efficiency
- Claim acceptance rates
- AR ageing
- Identify revenue leakages and process inefficiencies using data insights
- Present periodic dashboards and actionable insights to leadership
7. Process Excellence & Compliance
- Drive continuous improvement and automation across the revenue cycle
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (GST, accounting standards, healthcare guidelines)
- Develop SOPs and support internal and external audits
8. Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead billing, receivables, and collections teams
- Collaborate closely with clinical, operations, and IT teams
- Manage relationships with corporates, insurers, and external partners
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
- 6-10 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management / Accounts Receivable / Billing & Collections
- Strong exposure to billing operations, collections, and financial controls
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, hospitals, insurance, or TPA environments
- Familiarity with healthcare billing and claims processes
- Exposure to digital/automated finance systems
