Senior Manager - Finance - QSR

About the Job

A fast-growing QSR brand is looking to hire a Senior Manager Finance to lead its finance and accounts function at the corporate level.

This strategic role will partner closely with CXOs to support aggressive domestic expansion and readiness for international markets.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of financial leadership, operational control, and the agility to work in a scaling, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities (Strategic & Operational)

- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop long-term financial plans, funding strategies, and capital allocation to support outlet rollouts and new market entry.

- Finance Operations Leadership: Oversee accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, audit, and compliance.

- Ensure accurate reporting and timely closures.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive budgeting cycles, variance analysis, and KPI tracking for topline, EBITDA, and store-level performance.

- Business Partnering & Reporting: Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews, board presentations, and decision-support analyses for CXOs.

- Cost & Profitability Management: Lead margin improvement and cost control initiatives, including pricing guidance and supplier negotiations.

- Governance & Risk: Establish robust internal controls, manage statutory compliance, and ensure strong financial discipline across operations.

- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

- Strategic Projects: Support new market evaluations, franchise/joint venture models, and financial due diligence for expansion plans.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strategic mindset with strong financial acumen and operational control.

- Excellent stakeholder communication; experienced in board and investor interactions.

- Deep expertise in FP&A, audits, MIS, and compliance.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

- Leadership experience in scaling finance teams and driving business outcomes.

Preferred Background

- Experience: 8+ years in QSR, retail, hospitality, or FMCG environments with multi-outlet operations.

- Qualification: CA preferred; MBA (Finance) with strong accounting base also considered.

- Exposure: Experience in scaling finance operations; international market exposure (especially UK) is an added plus.
