Senior Manager - Finance - Plant Accounting - CA

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager - Finance (Plant Accounting) will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial activities related to plant accounting across multiple business units. The role involves driving financial control, supporting business decision-making through analytics, ensuring compliance, and leading strategic initiatives such as ERP implementation and capex evaluation. The incumbent will also play a key role in shaping financial strategies for existing and new plants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end finance and accounting operations including cost accounting, book closure, inventory management, audits, financial controls, and compliance across multiple legal entities

- Manage audits and ensure timely delivery of all compliance and corporate requirements

- Provide financial insights to the business through profitability analysis, margin profiling, and other analytics

- Develop and drive business plans and financial strategies for existing and new plant operations

- Lead ERP implementation initiatives specific to plant accounting

- Evaluate ROI for capital expenditure (capex) decisions

- Perform plant accounting and variance analysis across products

- Collaborate with internal teams (sourcing, operations, finance) and external stakeholders (vendors/customers) for seamless financial operations

Requirements:

Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or plant environment

- Strong exposure to financial reporting standards, financial analysis, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks

- Willingness to travel

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and their application in plant operations

- Expertise in plant accounting across multiple branches

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

- Effective communication skills in English (and local language, if required)

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
