Role :

Company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Finance with a strong background in manufacturing finance. This role will drive end-to-end financial operations including accounting, invoicing, FP&A, and controllership, while partnering with business teams to ensure financial discipline, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Closure

- Lead end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, GL)

- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure

- Maintain compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

- Oversee reconciliations (bank, vendor, inventory, inter-company)

2. Invoicing & Revenue Management

- Supervise accurate and timely customer invoicing

- Drive receivables management, ageing analysis, and collections governance

- Ensure full compliance with GST regulations

- Partner with Sales & Supply Chain for billing accuracy

3. Manufacturing Finance & Costing (Core Focus)

- Own product costing, inventory valuation, and cost accounting

- Deep understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), WIP, and production cycles

- Monitor standard vs actual cost variance and recommend corrective actions

- Work closely with plant/operations teams to drive cost efficiency

4. FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)

- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial planning cycles

- Deliver MIS, dashboards, and variance analysis

- Provide actionable insights to leadership on revenue, margins, and cost drivers

- Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling & scenario planning

5. Controllership & Governance

- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory requirements

- Lead internal and external audits

- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives

6. Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor the accounts and finance team

- Drive performance, accountability, and capability building

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Leadership

Key Requirements:

- Mandatory exposure to manufacturing industry

- Strong experience in costing, FP&A, and controllership roles

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.)

- Strong expertise in financial accounting & reporting

- Advanced knowledge of cost accounting & manufacturing finance

- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and analytics

- Advanced Excel & data handling skills

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
