Role Overview:
As a Sr. Manager-Finance in our dynamic multi-plant environment, you will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role involves comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring robust cost control, accurate budgeting, and precise forecasting for our diverse plant operations.
You will collaborate closely with plant leadership, corporate finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide critical financial insights, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Your contributions will directly impact the profitability, financial health, and sustainable growth of our manufacturing footprint, supporting the business in achieving its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies for multi-plant operations to optimize resource allocation and achieve business objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all plant locations to ensure accurate financial projections and performance monitoring.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of plant performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation, and fixed asset management for multiple manufacturing sites to ensure accurate financial reporting and control.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies across all plant operations to mitigate risks and maintain financial integrity.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across various plant locations, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting within a multi-plant manufacturing context.
- Possesses a strong understanding of internal controls, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements, ensuring robust financial governance.
- Exhibits advanced analytical capabilities, adept at translating complex financial data into actionable insights for operational and strategic improvements.
- Commands excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop finance professionals across distributed teams.
- Communicates complex financial information clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders, including senior management and non-finance professionals.
- Holds a CA/CMA/CFA qualification or an MBA in Finance from a premier institution, underscoring a strong foundational knowledge in financial principles.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, on-site multi-plant environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
