Senior Manager - Finance Controllership - Manufacturing

Role Overview:

A leading diversified conglomerate in the automotive and manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior Manager - Finance Controllership. The role will support financial reporting, controllership dashboards, internal audit closure, and designated areas of standalone and consolidated financial statements. The position requires strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, internal financial controls, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting, with regular interaction with senior finance leadership and statutory auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain controllership dashboards, management information reports, and financial performance metrics for leadership review.

- Manage assigned sections of standalone and consolidated financial statements, including schedules, reconciliations, disclosures, and supporting documentation.

- Track internal audit observations, coordinate remediation plans, and drive timely closure of audit findings.

- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, statutory reporting requirements, and applicable Securities and Exchange Board of India regulations.

- Analyse the accounting implications of corporate actions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.

- Coordinate with finance teams and statutory auditors to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant with 5 - 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Experience in financial controllership, financial reporting, and standalone or consolidated financial statements.

- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, internal controls over financial reporting, and Securities and Exchange Board of India Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.

- Experience in internal audit coordination, audit observation closure, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.

- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.

- Exposure to Oracle Hyperion or Financial Consolidation and Close Solutions is an added advantage.
