Senior Manager - Finance - CA

Description: Were looking for a Senior Manager Finance to lead financial control, governance, and compliance across the organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built and scaled finance functions in startup or regulated environments and is comfortable working closely with founders and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes under Ind AS.

- Design and enforce robust financial controls, SOPs, and approval matrices.

- Manage statutory, tax, internal audits, and CARO compliance.

- Ensure adherence to Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and regulatory norms.

- Oversee Accounts & GL functions, including revenue recognition, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.

- Drive cash flow visibility, forecasting, and working capital management.

- Monitor partner floats, escrow accounts, payables/receivables, and optimize cash deployment.

- Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, margins, and unit economics.

- Prepare MIS, board decks, and investor-ready reports; support fundraising and due diligence.

- Build scalable finance systems, automation frameworks, and continuous process improvements.

Desired Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 812 years of experience.

- Background in startup or regulated environments (Insurtech/Insurance preferred).

- Strong expertise in financial control, audit, compliance, and cash management.

- Proficient in financial systems, automation, and statutory/Ind AS requirements.

- High-ownership, detail-oriented, and hands-on mindset.

- Strong communicator, comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
