Position: Senior Manager Finance & Accounts.
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
Experience: 5 to 10years.
Reporting To: Finance Controller or Executive Director Infrastructure and Constructions.
Role Overview:
The Senior Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading the Finance & Accounts function, ensuring robust financial governance, statutory compliance, strategic financial planning, and effective cost management.
The role demands a strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to partner with senior management for financial performance. and supporting growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive profitability and cost optimization.
Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure statutory compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, and. other regulations.
- Handle audits (statutory, tax, internal) and liaise with auditors, consultants, and.
regulatory authorities.
Treasury & Fund Management:
- Manage working capital, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimization.
- Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund-raising activities.
- Monitor forex exposure and manage risks.
MIS & Reporting:
- Develop robust MIS systems and dashboards for management reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reports to management and the board.
- Support investor presentations, board meetings, and strategy reviews.
Team Leadership & Governance:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and SOPs.
- Ensure ethical financial practices and strong corporate governance.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
- Expertise in taxation (Direct & Indirect) and corporate laws.
- Proven track record in financial planning, cost control, and profitability improvement.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Background:
- Qualified CA with 5 10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Exposure to corporate finance, fund-raising, and investor relations will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, or large diversified groups. preferred.
