Description:
- Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations for multiple clients (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, FP& A, and Compliance).
- Act as the primary point of contact for CFOs/Controllers of clients.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS/Ind AS, as applicable.
- Drive governance meetings, SLA/KPI reviews, and continuous process improvements.
Operational Leadership:
- Manage daily operations across client portfolios, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs.
- Implement internal controls aligned with SOX, SOC, and client-specific requirements.
- Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Coordinate with tax and audit teams for statutory audit, financial book closure and compliance filings.
People And Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants, assistant managers, and managers.
- Build team capability in US GAAP, IFRS, Indian compliance, and global accounting tools.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and succession planning.
Process Excellence And Technology:
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and process optimisation (RPA, ERP enhancements).
- Drive adoption of financial technologies (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.
- Monitor risk and compliance frameworks to ensure data security and confidentiality for client engagements.
Business And Strategic Contribution:
- Support pre-sales and solutioning for new client proposals (transition planning, scope definition).
- Contribute to revenue growth by strengthening client relationships and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Provide thought leadership on finance outsourcing best practices.
Requirements:
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 10-15 years of experience in finance and accounts, with at least 5+ years in outsourcing/shared services handling multiple clients.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, Ind AS, SOX compliance, and global reporting standards.
- Proven experience in managing teams of 20-50+ members in a delivery environment.
- Exposure to ERP and accounting tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero).
- Experience with automation tools (RPA, BI dashboards) preferred.
