Senior Manager - Finance - CA

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

The candidate should have understanding of banking activity related to foreign currency transactions (mainly in USD, EUR, MYR, THB, JPY, AED) in the form of inward & outward remittances, forward contracts and loans. Having practical knowledge of other derivative products will be an added advantage.

Position Summary/Requirements:

- Experience in dealing with Forex / commodity hedging. Understanding of hedge accounting is a must.

- Must have knowledge of handling MIS related to the forex area.

- Experience in commodity hedging on London Metal Exchange for base metal.

- Strong background in accounting, especially related to foreign currency transactions in SAP.

- Expected to work on bank reconciliation for related items along with handling various documents and correspondence with the banks.

- Complete various audits and certifications such as Internal audits, statutory audits and RBI compliance certifications for forex and commodity with real time updates in ERP as well as record keeping in Excel.

- Experience in Big 4 audit firms & Hedge Accounting will be a plus.

- Expected to prepare a consolidated foreign currency exposure based on month end data from three business verticals and maintain real time updated information of the exposure for management review.

- Should be capable of handling BOD and Audit Committee deliverables based on timelines.

- Should have worked in a corporate environment and is aware about the closing process with fundamental knowledge of internal controls in ERP environment.

- Experience in the EPC business is an essential element for this role.

Education: Chartered Accountant

Experience: 10-15 years
