Role Overview :
This is a high-impact Finance Business Partnering role aligned to the Linear Ad Revenue business. The role acts as a strategic bridge between Sales/Ad Revenue teams and the CFO's office, driving data-backed decision-making and influencing commercial outcomes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical depth with the confidence to challenge business assumptions, drive performance, and partner closely with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Revenue Forecasting & Performance Analysis :
- Drive periodic forecasting of Ad Revenue across channels and properties (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
- Analyze key KPIs including pricing, volume, and mix vs. budget and prior periods.
- Conduct post-evaluation of shows, events, and properties from a revenue lens.
- Deliver actionable insights to leadership to improve commercial outcomes.
2. Pricing & Incentive Strategy :
- Monitor pricing frameworks and identify opportunities to optimize revenue.
- Own end-to-end Agency Incentive Policy (design to closure).
- Partner with business teams to enhance sales performance and unit economics.
- Experience in automation and dashboarding tools preferred- Conduct deep-dive analysis on industry benchmarks (GRPs, AdGRPs, fill rates, etc.).
3. Competitive Benchmarking :
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on industry benchmarks (GRPs, AdGRPs, fill rates, etc.).
- Derive insights on competitive positioning and performance gaps.
- Translate insights into pricing and go-to-market recommendations.
4. Process Improvement & Automation :
- Streamline finance processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Build automated dashboards and real-time reporting frameworks.
- Drive data-led decision-making through scalable analytics solutions.
5. Stakeholder Management & Leadership :
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance leadership.
- Drive discussions with senior stakeholders including the CFO's office.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while remaining hands-on.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- 10 to 15 years in Business Finance/Commercial Finance/FP&A/Sales Finance.
- Strong experience in revenue planning, pricing, and sales analytics.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders (CXO-level exposure preferred).
- Ability to influence decisions and challenge business teams with data-backed insights.
Preferred Background :
- Media & Entertainment, FMCG, Consumer, or Telecom sectors preferred.
- Open to candidates from other industries with strong commercial finance experience.
